A wordplay on my initials and my professional path, HER-Jewels came about with the wish to share my passion for Period Jewelry and extraordinary gems with a larger public. Lucky to be working for over a decade in the high-end jewelry industry, a world extremely closed to the outside and even more secretive, without betraying my professional obligations I wanted to write about my researches, the discoveries, the lost properties, the fabulous anecdotes... First by posting on Instagram, and later in articles and lectures, I found an enthusiastic public, hungry to discover the very rich history of jewelry and their provenance, following me to all the exhibitions and fairs around the world. It also allowed me to do the acquaintance of the outmost extraordinary people full of knowledge in and out of the business.

Jewels are very personal objects, we wear them directly on our skin, we cherish them for the souvenirs they hold, from the deep connection to an heirloom to the reminiscence of a loved one. As magical as the sparkles of a diamonds, jewelry history takes us on a journey through time, lands and cultures.
